How CBD can help in anxiety and stress

Studies have also shown that CBD can also help with other forms of anxiety, such as social anxiety disorder (SAD). In one of the study’s, Scientists found that patients with SAD who were given 400 milligrams CBD experienced significant decreases in their anxiety levels. CBD can also help those suffering from PTSD. A recent study revealed that CBD can curb symptoms of PTSD, such as nightmares and flashbacks.

CBD can also help those who suffer from insomnia caused by anxiety. CBD assists in regulating the stress hormone, cortisol. Too much cortisol in the body can play havoc on non-REM sleep cycles. A study published in the National Library of Medicine found that a group of subjects who were given CBD oil could sleep better. It helped alleviate their anxiety symptoms.
